Welcome to David Akers Kicks for Kids

David Akers Kicks for Kids has established programs within The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to provide assistance to the children and their families being treated at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. David's Locker is a resource for families to go to for assistance during their treatment at the hospital. The Field of Dreams program grants a chronically ill child with a "dream" request. Past dreams have been swim with the dolphins and a renovated playroom.

David's desire to "give back" to the community, as well as his wish to help young people and families in-need motivated him to establish the David Akers' Kicks for Kids organization. Organized in the fall of 2001, Kicks for Kids and it partners has had an immediate impact on the lives of hundreds of young people and their families in the Greater Philadelphia/Delaware Valley area
