On May 10th, Cescaphe Ballroom in Philadelphia was host to the 2nd Annual Kicking in Spring Event, sponsored by Lincoln Financial Group to support David Akers Kicks for Kids. Close to 300 guests came to this mix and mingle night to enjoy the great food, live music, auction and amazing magic show performed by Philadelphia Eagle Jon Derenbos. In addition to the silent auction, a raffle was held to win a 42” Plasma TV donated by Tweeter Entertainment and a gift card to the Shops at Pier One in Atlantic City. Athletes attending included Jeremiah Trotter, Jon Runyan, Hank Bassett, AJ Feely, Sav Rocca, Vince Papale ,Jon Dorenbos, Gary Cobb, Cecil Martin and Brian Propp were there to lend their support. Thank you to all who came out to our event and to those who generously donated to our auction, your support helped us raise over $90,000 and we look forward to next year’s event!
